Vaccinations

All Buffalo State students are strongly encouraged to stay up to date on their initial course of vaccinations and boosters consistent with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. While vaccines are not required at this time as a condition of enrollment, SUNY reserves the authority to change this policy at any time because of changes in local conditions or due to requirements imposed by Federal, State, or local authorities.
Buffalo State employees are strongly encouraged to stay up to date with their vaccinations, including getting a booster shot when eligible.
Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is not required to attend events at Buffalo State.

For Employees

The health and safety of our campus community remains our number one priority.

Closely monitor your personal health for symptoms of COVID-19.
Maintain good hygiene, including handwashing and use of hand sanitizer.
Masks will be optional for all members of the campus community, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, unless in a facility designated as a health setting and utilizing public transportation. Any member of the campus community may choose to continue wearing a mask.
At-home rapid COVID tests are available
Disinfect personal areas such as phones, keyboards, desks, and offices frequently.
