Surveillance testing will remain a requirement this fall for any individual with a presence on campus who has not yet been fully vaccinated.
If you are in quarantine, isolation, symptomatic, or have tested positive within the last 90 days, please DO NOT come to pool test. Please submit your positive test results and contact the Weigel Health Center.
You are exempt from pool testing for 90 days from the day you test positive.
Commuter students with a 100-percent remote schedule who will not come to campus under any circumstance for the fall 2021 semester, must complete a remote-learning exemption waiver to be exempted from the vaccine and/or pool testing requirements.
If this changes for any reason and you anticipate coming to campus, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Starting on Monday, August 30, testing will be held in Buckham Hall’s D-Wing (located across from the Sports Arena and next to the Technology Building, and accessible from lot R-12) on the following days and times:
Mondays from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesdays from 6:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Fridays from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Students may select any available day/time within the schedule to be tested.
Students may submit an off-campus COVID-19 test in lieu of the on-campus test. Tests must be received and submitted within the same week that you are on campus.
The saliva collection process is simple and fast. Tests are self-administered and require a short, 10-15 second swab around the mouth, between the gums, and under the tongue.
Information gathered from the online registration process is for internal campus use only.
If absent from on-campus classes, students must complete an absentee form to meet weekly pool-testing exemption.*
Form must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. Saturday following absences.
*Failure to complete exemption form will result in “no show” listing and non-compliantce.
