Update: March 19, 2021, 2:00 p.m.
Dear Current and Future Bengals,
It is with great optimism that I write today to share with you Buffalo State College’s intention to return to normal in-person operations for the fall 2021 semester.
With COVID-19 vaccinations becoming more readily available each week, including the expectation that anyone 16 years of age and older will have access to a vaccine by the end of May, we are hopeful for a robust fall semester with in-person classes, sociable residence halls, exciting events, and vibrant campus life.
Of course, the health and safety of our campus community will remain our No. 1 priority. We will follow the counsel of public health authorities, and thorough precautions will be in place throughout campus to ensure a safe semester for all. And should the guidance change, we will be prepared, flexible, and able to continue to offer our students an engaging educational experience.
While summer courses will once again be conducted fully online, our amazing faculty members are preparing to offer a full slate of in-person classes this fall. Registration for the fall semester begins Wednesday, April 7. Course schedules can be viewed online.
We will continue to keep you informed of our plans for the fall semester via e-mail and on the Buffalo State Coronavirus Information website.
Our faculty and staff members are always here to support you. If you have questions about admissions, financial aid, residence life, or student affairs, those offices are available and ready to help.
I look forward to seeing you on campus this fall!
Be well,
Katherine Conway-Turner
