Dear Student,
According to our records, you either have not received the COVID-19 vaccine or are partially vaccinated.
If you have completed your COVID-19 vaccination process and received this message in error, please contact Weigel Health Center to provide proof of vaccination.
Weigel Health Center is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Friday, September 3.
The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be provided to Buffalo State students. Pfizer is a two-shot vaccine and requires a follow-up appointment for a second dose on Friday, September 24.
Please call (716) 878-6711 to schedule your appointment(s).
Those students unable to attend Friday’s vaccine clinic are encouraged to contact Wegmans (601 Amherst St., Buffalo) as soon as possible to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
The Amherst St. Wegmans location is currently offering the Pfizer vaccine. You must schedule your first dose of Pfizer no later than Monday, September 6, to ensure your vaccine series is completed by Monday, September 27.
Please call Amherst St. Wegmans pharmacy at (716) 877-1477.
Visit SUNY’s Know Your Vax website to identify additional vaccine clinics in the Western New York area.
If you do not plan to complete your COVID-19 vaccine regimen by Monday, September 27, you should strongly consider withdrawing from in-person classes by Tuesday, September 7, at 11:59 p.m. to avoid financial liability.
If you do not complete your COVID-19 vaccine regimen by Monday, September 27, you will be withdrawn from all in-person classes by the Registrar’s Office, assigned a grade of W, and will be 100% financially liable.
Additionally, your financial aid eligibility for fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters may be negatively impacted.
Students who receive the COVID-19 vaccine after being withdrawn from in-person classes this fall will have the opportunity to re-enroll for in-person classes in spring 2022 provided that their outstanding bill is $499 or less.
Please note that the vaccine requirement will remain in place for enrollment during future semesters.
