Update: May 16, 2022, 3:00 p.m.
Western New York is experiencing an uptick in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. While restrictions have eased statewide, please consider your fellow graduates, guests, and community before attending Buffalo State’s commencement ceremonies or gatherings. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing coronavirus symptoms (sore throat, headache, runny nose, fever, shortness of breath, and coughing), please get tested before coming to campus.
Masks are not required at commencement ceremonies but are encouraged following COVID exposure, for high-risk individuals, and, as always, for anyone who feels more comfortable wearing one. For those unable to attend in person, commencement ceremonies will be streamed live on the college’s YouTube channel, Facebook, the commencement website, and available for post-ceremony viewing online.
